Do I need an account to order?
You can check out as a guest, but creating an account lets you track orders, manage returns, and save your shipping information for next time.
How do I check my order status?
Log in and go to Order History. You'll see real time status for each order, from processing through delivery.
Can I change or cancel an order after placing it?
If the order hasn't started processing yet, you can cancel it from Order History. Once an order is processing or shipped, it can't be changed, but you can start a return once it arrives.
Do you ship internationally?
No. Chimbaa currently ships to addresses within the United States only.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary by product and by whether it's sold directly by Chimbaa or by a marketplace Seller. Estimated delivery windows are shown on the product page and at checkout.
Why did my order arrive from a different company name?
Some products on Chimbaa are sold and shipped by independent Sellers rather than Chimbaa directly. The listing will note this before you buy, and the Seller's name may appear on your shipping label or packing slip.
My order shows delivered but I don't have it. What do I do?
Check with neighbors and around your delivery location first, since carriers sometimes mark a package delivered slightly before or after it's actually left. If you still can't find it after 24 hours, contact [email protected] with your order number.
Returns & Refunds
What's your return window?
30 days from the date of delivery on both Chimbaa direct sales and marketplace items, unless a specific listing states otherwise. Full details are in our Returns Policy.
How do I start a return?
Go to Order History, select the item, and choose Start a Return. You'll get a return label or instructions depending on the item.
When will I get my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
Who pays for return shipping?
Free if the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect. For other returns, a prepaid label is provided and the cost is deducted from your refund, unless the listing says otherwise.
Can I exchange an item instead of returning it?
Not directly right now. Return the original for a refund and place a new order for what you actually want.
Payment & Pricing
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards, along with other payment options shown at checkout.
When am I charged?
Your payment method is charged when the order is placed, not when it ships.
Do prices include tax?
Sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address and applicable law, and is added at checkout before you confirm your order.
Chimbaa Marketplace & Sellers
What's the difference between items sold by Chimbaa and items sold by a Seller?
Items sold directly by Chimbaa are listed as such and fulfilled by us. Marketplace items are listed and fulfilled by independent Sellers, though you still check out through Chimbaa and get support through us if something goes wrong.
Who do I contact if there's a problem with a marketplace item?
Start with Chimbaa support. We facilitate the resolution between you and the Seller and will step in directly if a Seller doesn't honor a valid request.
How do I become a Seller on Chimbaa?
Apply through the Seller registration page. You'll need business information and identity verification before you can start listing.
Communication & Privacy
Will I get marketing emails from Chimbaa?
No. We only send transactional messages like order confirmations, shipping updates, and account notices. No newsletters, no promotional blasts, no abandoned cart emails.
Is my information shared with Sellers?
Sellers only receive what's needed to fulfill your specific order, like your shipping address. They can't use your information for marketing or contact you outside the platform. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
